Albert Sams Obituary

Albert Earl Sams was born on June 4, 1934 to the late Robert and Salone Sams in Brookfield, Mississippi. He accepted Christ at an early age. He attended school in Brookfield, Mississippi from there he went into the service, 1951-1957. He served in two branches, the Army and Air force. After returning home, he worked at Sears then started doing construction work. Five years later he and his brother started a business. On April 8, 1961, Albert was united in holy matrimony to Inez Bates, to this union were born five children: James, Diane, Jeffery, Joseph, and Romell (James and Joseph preceded him in death.) He join New Evangelical Bible Church where he served as a Deacon. Albert had a joyful spirit that would light up any room, and would tease and joke with you even if he didn’t know you. Albert was called home April 8, 2026. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Inez Sams; three children, Diane (Steve), Jeffery, and Romell (Kay); nine grandchildren, Aaron (Dee), Jameka, Krystal (Wayne), Joseph Jr., Deshon, Mariah, Layla, JoJo, and Jasmine (TC); nine great grandchildren, Dakota, Josh, Kennedy, A’miyah, Jhayce, Jrue, McKenzie, Kimora, and Brooklyn; four godchildren, Caroyln, Jackie, Allen Jr., and Keuna; two brothers, Pastor Willie Sams (Wren) and Henry; two sisters, Rose (Frank) and Rachel; three sisters-in-law, Robbie, Bobbie, and Minnie; two brothers-in-law, Bates and Marshall; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and other family
