Once upon a time, a beautiful queen named Anita Chester was born to the late Ella Mae Chester and Joe Bell on December 5, 1962, in Chicago, Illinois.
Nita confessed in hope in Christ at an early age. Nita graduated from Crane High School and later worked as an engineer for East Lake Management for many years with a strong work ethic.
Nita truly loved her family immensely and was a very loving and caring person who was willing to help those in need. She had a great sense of humor. She loved to go shopping and do interior designing and loved to listen to music and dancing. Nita stayed happy with a beautiful smile.
On September 30, 2023, at 2:25, God held his hand out and said, “Let’s go home.” A precious one from us has gone, a voice we loved is still. A place is vacant in our hearts which can never be filled.
Anita was preceded in death by her two sisters, Mary Ann and Marie Chester; three brothers, Dennis, Kevin Chester, and Ira Richardson.
Nita will be fondly remembered and sorely missed. She leaves to cherish her memories to her loving life part- ner, Lloyd Prude; five children, Candice Chester (Curtis), Camille Prude, Lolita White (Jermaine), Lloyd Prude, and Joshua Prude; four sisters, Betty Clark, Shelly Smith (Sidney) of Alabama, Jancie Coffee of Ala- bama, and Debra Ann Richardson; two brothers, Willie and James Richardson; 28 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; special aunt, Dora Hurt of Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
