Annie Ruth Williams, a beloved daughter, sister, godmother, and friend, entered eternal rest on December 24, 2024. Born on April 27, 1970, in Chicago, Illinois, Annie was the cherished daughter of Juliean Haynes and Reverend Smith. She attended Orr High School and spent her life enriching the lives of all who knew her. Annie began her Christian journey at Joshua Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend C. L. White, Sr., where she served faithfully in the choir, sharing her love for music and worship. Her passion for singing was a cornerstone of her life, and she even founded a Facebook singing group to spread joy and inspiration through music. On April 27, 1996, she married the love of her life, Troy Williams, who preceded her in death. Together, they embarked on a life of service and devotion, joining El-Shaddai Christian Center, where they served until the passing of their pastor. Annie’s spiritual journey continued as she became a member of Judah International Ministries under Prophetess Katherine Smith. Later, she joined Rivers of Living Water International Ministries under Apostle Stephen Garner's leadership. Her final place of worship was Full Deliverance Covenant Church, where she served under Pastor Charles and Co-Pastor Prophetess Sister Carter. Her unwavering faith and commitment to ministry touched countless lives throughout her journey. In addition to her love for singing, Annie was a talented cook who delighted in sharing her culinary creations with family and friends. Her warmth and hospitality were an extension of her generous spirit, always making those around her feel loved and cared for. Annie leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her brother, Eugene Chaney; godchildren, Elijah, Latonya, and Jessica; and four special sisters, Chelsea, Mary, Katherine, and Co-Pastor Prophetess Sister Carter. Annie is also mourned by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and friends, all of whom were blessed by her kindness, warmth, and strength. Annie's life was a testament to faith, love, and service. Her radiant spirit, melodious voice, and enduring faith will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.
