Anthony Hill Obituary

On June 4, 1986, in Chicago, Illinois, God blessed the proud parents, Anthony King and Jamie Hill, with a handsome 9 lb., 15 oz., chocolate, baby boy. They named him ANTHONY HILL. Anthony was quiet and observant, but always heard. Anthony moved to Clarksville, Indiana, in 1997, where he was raised by his grandmother after the passing of his mother. His grandmother was a God fearing woman. Anthony belief in God came through the faith his grandmother had. He graduated from River-Valley Middle School and later attended Jeffersonville High School, where he inherited the name, Black. Anthony loved his family. He didn’t play about his blood. He was the oldest and the biggest of all his cousins and he certainly used that to his advantage. He was huge, but gentle. His grandmother used to call him her gentle giant! Anthony enjoyed spending time with his kids, as they were the most important part of his life. Anthony had a smile so bright, or maybe it just looked bright because he was so black, and when he smiled at you all you’d see was teeth. To know Anthony was to love him. He was the epitome of loyal. He protected everyone and everything attached to him. He always reached out and checked on his loved ones. Always trying to get people to visit him. He loved listening to music and taking walks across the bridge, and little glass bottle with the brown stuff in it. He also loved shoes. You wouldn’t catch him rocking no shoes unless they were Jordans, Air Force Ones (not the black ones) or Timberlands. Anthony is now joined in heaven with his mother, Jamie; father, Anthony; brother, Alex; two grandmothers, Brenda and Eva; two grandfathers, James and Lewis; three cousins, Dion, Karla, and Eric; and two uncles, Bruce and Irving He leaves to cherish his memories his two sons, Rijah and Alex; two sisters, Ashley (Kyle) and Annette; three brothers, Antel, Avionics, and Axvier; seven aunties, Latronda, Sherrice, Theresa, Cassandra, Javon, Ja’Shae, and Lakeisha; two uncles, Demetrius and Burdett; three bonus kids, Angelo, Rico, and Anyla; one special friend, Rishawna; four bonus brothers, Fabian, Anthony, Montell, and Philip; one bonus uncle, Antwan; and a host of cousins and friends. Anthony’s memories will live on in all our hearts.
