The sunrise of Antonio Darnell Linton began on December 19, 1988, born to Edward C. Linton and Antoinette D. Logan in Chicago, Illinois. Antonio was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Parker Linton and Arthur Moore; two aunts, Berline Linton and Jamesetta Benson; and two special friends, Shannon and Angel. Antonio was baptised at Holy David Missionary Baptist Church on March 2, 1997, under the leadership of Reverend James Cotton. He attended Sumner Elementary School where he graduated and went to Manley High School. He later transferred and graduated from CCA Academy where he was on the chess and basketball teams. Tony, as we affectionately called him, loved music and the game of basketball. Tony loved fishing with his grandfather, and he loved to dance and rap. He worked for REM Temporary Service. Antonio was full of love and laughter. He showed love to everyone he came in contact with. He also had an infectious smile and laughter that would light up any room. Antonio was love and was loved. Antonio’s sunset was on December 31, 2022, at 9:30 AM at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He leaves to cherish his memory: his father, Edward; mother, Antoinette; three brothers, James (Jill), Michael, and Edward, Jr.; four sisters, Crystal, Jasmine, Angela, and Shauntavia; grandparents, Exerine Linton and James and Charlene Benson; nieces, Jamese and Nyla; nephews, James Jr., Mi’Cari, and Ca’Mari; aunts, Christine (Patrick), Marquita (Johnta), Etheldrick (Teo), and Martha; uncle, Adam; cousins, Vaugh, Aja, Adonnis, Eric Jr., and Paige; and a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, and friends.
