Antwon Brown Obituary

Our beloved Antwon Terrell Brown opened his eyes and took his first breath at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, IL, in the midnight hour of November 21, 1980. He was born to Lorree Dorria Brown and Michael Parker. Our heavenly Father called him home August 25, 2021 at a half past the midnight hour. Antwon’s education began at Spencer Elementary School, and he later advanced to become a Marshall Commando at John Marshall Highschool. Even though he worked at Navy Pier as a concession stand worker, among other jobs, he always found the time to be a caregiver for anyone that needed him. Antwon became the proud big brother of three sisters and one brother. He later became the proud uncle of five nephews, six nieces, and one great niece. Antwon loved life! As a young boy, he loved fishing and had a special love for all animals. He would always bring home frogs, lizards, dogs, cats, and any other animal he could find to care for. He also enjoyed cooking, watching movies, playing video games, and spending quality time with family. Antwon cared for just about anyone he came into contact with, caring for countless family members, friends, and even their loved ones. Although Antwon had a hard exterior for the westside streets in which he grew up, anyone who knew him knew he had the softest soul with a heart of gold. Antwon was preceded in death by his grandfather, George “Bull” Beard, who affectionately called him, “Boo, boo, boy” and his niece, Trinity Lydia Carroll. This beautiful soul leaves to cherish his memories; his mother: Lorree Brown, his father: Michael Parker, his sisters: Sadie Love, Bonnie Angela Brown (Tyrone Carroll), Lorriel Shanell Brown, his brother: DeAndre Dontae Brown, his grandmother: Bonnie Mae Brown, his loving uncle: Anthony Charles Brown (Debra Williams), his loving aunts: Latonya BrownWillett (Larry Willett), and Shemerieal Dominique Alexander, his nieces and nephews: RayQwon Brown, JayQwon Green, Jada Green, Adrienne Carroll, Tyrese Carrol, Tyra Carroll, Sadjion Green-Love, Mia Green-Love, and Jasmine Green-love, his great niece: Ailani Green-Lovea, and a host of cousins and close friends.
