Apostle Troiteena Arrington Obituary

TROITEENA ARRINGTON, was an Apostle, Wife, Mother,
Daughter, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Niece, Cousin, Spiritual Mother, and Friend.
She was born June 10, 1965 to Roger and Florene McClain on the West Side of Chicago,
Illinois. Troiteena, known as “Teena” was the eldest of three children. She attended
Sol R. Crown Elementary School, where she displayed her outstanding intellect,
graduating at the age of 12.  ere she met many people that became lifelong friends.
Teena began high school at Lane Technical High School and later graduated from
Jones Commercial High School, both in Chicago, Illinois.
Teena used the business skills learned at Jones Commercial High School and became
employed at Chicago’s City Hall as a secretary at the age of 16. Continuing along that
career path, she excelled and was ultimately promoted to and hired as an Executive
Administrative Assistant. Her marketplace work on this side of Heaven culminated
at the American Heart Association. Needless to say, Teena had an excellent work ethic
which made her loved by her employers and co-workers.
Teena met the love of her life, Rodney Arrington, 27 years ago.  ey were married
August 19, 2000.  ey have three children, Larry McClain, Verdell McClain, and
Shanita Arrington. If you ask anyone that knows Teena and Rodney, whenever they
“hit the town” they wore the same colors and were always dressed to the nines.  eir
children thought they were lames but ultimately came to realize that this was a sign
of unity!
Teena gave her life to Jesus Christ in 2001 and was baptized at Holy Corinthian MBC
under the leadership of the late Pastor C.T. Baker. She strongly felt the call to do
God’s work early on but made a deal with God that she would give Him her life one
year a er she was married.  is promise was realized one year a er her marriage
to Rodney when God reminded her of that promise. Teena said “yes” to her call to
ministry, beginning with church services in her home. She eventually rose to the rank
of Ordained Pastor. As a pastor, Teena established Life Redeeming Ministries (LRM)
in 2005. A er 17 years of being the Senior Pastor of LRM she was later installed to
the o ce of Apostle on September 19, 2022, under the leadership of her spiritual
Father, Apostle Lorenzo Irving. Apostle Arrington was a mighty woman of God! As
she was in her youth, she was a  ghter, but she exchanged street battles for  ghting
for souls. She believed in casting out unclean spirits no matter how they manifested
themselves. She was about God’s business and believed in a Spirit of Excellence. Until
the end, Apostle Arrington fought the good  ght of faith, su ering in her body, but
keeping her faith. Apostle Arrington exchanged her earthly body for a glori ed body
on August 6 where she continues the work of the Lord in God’s Kingdom.
Apostle Arrington was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arthur McClain Sr.
and Rosa McClain, Moses Shelton Sr. and Irene Shelton, uncle Henry Reed and auntie
Louise Reed, uncles Arthur McClain Jr., Willie McClain and sister-in-law, Judy Rhine.
Apostle Arrington leaves in this earth her loving husband, Rodney Arrington; sons,
Larry and Verdell McClain; daughter, Shanita Arrington; father, Roger McClain;
mother, Florene (Ron) Logan; four grandchildren, Imaney McClain, Rondell Latiker,
Larry McClain, Jr., and Kyree Cullum; sisters, Sabrina Smith and Natasha McClain;
sister-in-law, Monica Arrington; and brother-in-law,  omas (Marcia) Arrington.
She also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, spiritual sons, and
daughters, and friends.
Apostle Troiteena Arrington, a warrior for the Kingdom of God, will be sorely missed
on this side of Heaven, but her legacy lives on! In her words, SELAH, pause and think
about it!
