Billy was born February 21, 1977, to the parentage of Arnold
Graham and Sharon Barzar in Chicago, IL. He was the oldest of
two children.
Billy was raised in Summit, IL, and attended Otis P. Graves
Elementary for some time. e family then relocated to Hazel
Crest, IL, where he continued his education. He enjoyed playing
basketball and hanging out with his friends among other things.
A er completing high school, he attended a trade school in
Golconda, IL, where he specialized in culinary arts and masonry in
February of 1997. During this time, Billy met Nikki, and together,
they brought us his twin, his one and only child, Maiya Antionette-
Lee Carter. Billy adored her and cared for her like no other.
He began his trucking career with C. R. England Trucking Company
and transferred to Diversi ed Transfer and Storage, Inc., located
in Salt Lake City, UT. is is there where he met Adrienne Dorby,
put down roots, and called it home.
Billy had an unrelenting zest for life. He was determined to
get everyone together. His goal was to create memories that we
can reminisce on to keep us reminded of good times, love, and
the bond that family shares. Billy was a master chef. He cooked
amazing cuisines, but a master griller was he! He loved music,
camping, and traveling. He enjoyed cruising most of all. In fact,
he was a VIP cruise member and making new friends constantly!
Billy loved life and lived it to the fullest.
Although Billy was loved by all, he also had some very special bonds
with several people. He had two families, Argo and Hazelcrest,
and we loved him dearly.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Elvira and Jonathan
Barzar and James and Edith Graham; aunts, Vivian Graham and
Melvina Barzar; uncles, Floyd Barzar and Jewel and Charles
Graham; and best friend, Marshawn Johnson.
He leaves to cherish: his only daughter, Maiya; grandson, Nikhil;
mother, Sharon Bryant (Cleamon); father, Arnold Graham
(Yvette); only sister, Melissa; aunts, Katherine Barzar (godmother),
Darlene Dowd Smith, and Eartha Bishop (Blue); uncle, James
Graham (Terry) and Jonathan Barzar, Jr.; very special friend
for over 20 years, Adrienne Dorby of Ogden, UT; and a host of
cousins, other relatives, and friends.
