Bridgette L. Haynes was born on March 30, 1963 in
Chicago, Illinois.
She was the second child born to the late Joann Parker Haynes
(Mother) and the late Leroy M.Haynes (Father). Bridgette was
preceeded in death by her nephew, Blannie Haynes, Jr.
Bridgette attended Mason Elementary School and Farragut
High School in Chicago. She accepted Christ at an early age.
She attended St. Michael MB Church.
She loved working as a Custodian at Kenwood High School,
keeping the young teens happy as they called her “Ms. Boss
Lady.” She made sure everyone was on top of their business.
Bridgette lived her life to the fullest with no regrets. She was
a loving person and a giver, always willing to help others. She
enjoyed music, dancing, facebook live, and was very family
oriented.
On February 28, 2024, Bridgette was called home to Eternal
Peace, Rest, and is now free from pain.
Bridgette leaves to cherish her memory: Darral Gordon and
three sons, Asa, Darral, Jr., and Lediel; Godson, Moda; two
sisters, Lori Haynes Trotter (Barbara) and Sandra Haynes;
two brothers, Aaron Haynes and Michael Harris (Sherry);
niece, Jarie Brietta Haynes who Bridgette raised as her own
daughter; fourteen grandchildren, Kewauna, Darral III,
Shyrain, Dejuan, Tynez, Di’yonous, Christina, Lediel Jr,
Lorenzo, Lalia, Landiel, London, Princess Dyamin, and
Livia; loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends;
one very special friend, Debra Washington was like a sister
to Bridgette; two very special friends, Latanya Franklin and
Debbie Gordon.
A special thanks to Darral Gordan who took care of Bridgette
in her time of need.
