Camille “Buffy” Ferguson was the beloved daughter of
Robert and Deborah Ferguson born on January 29 1980, in
Chicago Illinois. She Departed this life on Sunday December
24, 2023.
Camille was baptized at Mars Hill Baptist Church in Chicago
and grew up in the Church. She was also a member of Living
Word Church in Forest Park, Illinois.
Camille attended Oliver Wendell Holmes Elementary School
and graduated from Oak Park River Forest High School.
She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism at Clark
University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Camille started her career in marketing with Fox Sports
in Atlanta, Georgia, where she worked for many years. She
continued her marketing career working at AON and Bain
& Company, both located in Chicago, Illinois. However,
she didn’t stop there. She continued to direct her energy to
philanthropy by reaching back to help many public school
children in the Inner City of Chicago. Camille had a true
heart of gold.
Camille’s charismatic smile went well with her lifestyle as a
fashionista. Her motto was, “You could never make a rst
impression the second time.” She touched the life of every
person she came into contact with.
Camille had a great love for family and friends at an early
age. She deeply loved her family. Her grandparents, Margaret
Hawkins and Tom and Gladys Ferguson, preceded her in
death. Camille will forever be in the hearts of: her brother,
Robert (Nell); two sisters, Angelica and Arianna; one niece,
Jordan; one nephew, Kade; four aunts, Rose, Kathy, Gladys,
and Prestonia; six uncles, Ronald (Larissa), Dru (Maria),
Melvin (Donna), Micheal, omas, and Micheal Ricardo; and
a multitude of cousins and friends.
