The Life of Chandra LaShon Brown-Jones, affectionately know as Shon Chandra LaShon Brown-Jones, was born April 28, 1981, in Chicago, Illinois. She was eldest child born to Lawrence T. Brown and Yvette Williams. She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence T. Brown, and grandparents, Theodore and Cora Williams. A Time to Plant Shon was a loving, kind, and affectionate person, who told you the truth in love all the time. She attended Taft High School and Olympia College, where she earned a certificate as a certified medical assistant. Chandra specialized in healthcare f inances for several years in the healthcare industry, she was employed with the Resurrection Hospital, until her health began to fail her. Chandra met the love of her life Danny, and they were married May 19, 2017, until her death. To this union three children were born, and they became a blended family of five. Time to be Saved Chandra was baptized at an early age at the Greater Way Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Otis Nixon. She reunited with Greater Way Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Michael Morgan. Time to Depart Chandra transitioned from labor to reward on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 1:30 AM at McNeal Hospital surrounded by her family. She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving husband, Danny Jones; five children, Tommy Morrow III, Tomaris Corde, Dani Maniyah, Meilani Saniyah, Daveon Maurice; mother, Yvette Williams of Las Vegas, Nevada; brother, Corey Williams; father and mother-in-law, Wright and Dorothy Jones of Chicago, Illinois; four sisters-in-law, Delores Jones-Williams, Sandra Jones, Debra Jones, and Artesia Jones; two brothers-in-law, Jamie Jones and Darren (Lorraine)Jones, all of Chicago, Illinois; two aunts, Shavon Bullocks, Angie (Pierre)Brown, Sr.; one uncle, Cleotha Bullock; a special cousin, Temeka Dawson; three specials friends, Candice Black, Conchetta Johnson, and Quovella Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
