Charlie James Rogers

Today we gather here to celebrate and carry on the legacy of CHARLIE JAME ROGERS. Charlie graced in Hayti, MO on July 1, 1967, born to James Rogers, Sr., and Magnolia James. At an early age Charlie was baptized at Seven Star Missionary Baptist Church Pastor John McBride. Charlie graduated from Nash Elementary School and later graduated from Austin Community High School. Charlie worked as a paper boy and landscape. He loved family gatherings, dancing, and playing cards. Charlie departed this life on June 24, 2025, at Mt. Sinai Hospital Chicago, IL. Charlie was preceded in death by his father, James Rogers, Sr.; mother, Magnolia James; brothers, Roosevelt McBride, Johnny James, James Rogers, Jr.; a sister, Donna Jones; both paternal and maternal grandfather, Leroy Rogers and Herman McBride, Sr.; both maternal and paternal grandmothers, Elnora McBride and Lucille Rogers; aunties, Bretha Williams and Tecora McBride; four uncles, John McBride, Herman McBride, Jr., Williams McBride, and Lester McBride; two nieces, LaTanya R. McBride, Terry’a M. Adams; one nephew, Christopher Miller.
