My Life Began I, Daphne Denise Patton, was born on January 28th, 1970, in Chicago, IL. I was born to Climon L. Patton and Naomi Nicholson-Patton. My Journey I attended Our Lady Help of Christian Grammar School, Charles A. Prosser High School, and I received a Certi ed Medical Assistant Certicate. I was blessed with one son, Anthony Climon Wise, also known as “My Man Child” and “My Moosie.” I accepted Christ and was baptized at Hopewell PB Church during my preteen years under the leadership of my great-uncle, the late Elder D.W. Patton, Jr. In 2010, I moved my membership to Christ Center Institutional Ministries under the leadership of my cousin Pastor Dr. Torrence Ivy, Sr. In 2011 the church dissolved and merged with Thompson Hopewell Church. I did not attend on a regular basis, however, Pastor Dr. Ivy did get me reinstated as a member. Although I was not physically in a church, God remained the center of my life, trusting in the Lord with all my heart. I worked as a medical records technician for a few years. My main place of employment was at Bruce Dorn & Associates as a Claims Litigation Counsel for State Farm, worked 17 years, until I became ill and retired early. As you all know, I worked for Facebook as a Facebook Queen (LOL). My F ily My one and only son, Anthony Climon Wise; my amazing parents, Climon and Naomi Patton; my loving sister, Valerie Arlisa Patton; my beautiful nieces, Clentarra (Red) Patton and Ayzarie Boddy; my favorite nephew, Jakarri M. George; my bonus sister, Ashley Boddy; my sister-cousins, Velma Lloyd and Tonia Stevenson (Sherman); one aunt, Vivian Grayson; one uncle, Ezell Nicholson; four great aunts, Eula Petty, Ethel Pumphrey, Emma Nicholson, and Joyce Patton; one great-uncle, John Patton; my best friends, Julia M. Williams, Marilyn R. Walker, Janice Jones, and Nannette Foster; godmother, Deeatra Blanchard; my godchildren, Jawana Catchings and Khyrii Watkins; and a host of cousins and friends whom I love dearly. You all hold a special place in my heart. My Journey Is Complete No building named after me, no monument was erected in my honor, but I did have the chance to know and love my family and friends. When death came for me, I met it with a smile on my face, a hallelujah on my lips, and no fear in my heart as my God has come for me to take me where there will be no more pain and troubles of this world. Love You All Dearly, Daphne Densie Patton
