Darryl "Da Da" Daviston was born on May 26, 1962, to the late John and Ethel Daviston. As a boy, Darryl was a comedian who loved to have fun and, yes, was the original photo bomber. Growing up he acquired the nickname "Da Da," given to him by family and friends, which stayed with him throughout his life. He attended the Chicago public school system at Earl Elementary and Wendell Phillips High School. Darryl was a hardworking man who was caring, giving, and loving. If he had it and you needed it, he was there for you. As long as the CTA was running, he had a smile on his face Darryl Card was called on November 18, 2021. He leaves to mourn: three sisters, Karen Bryant-Daviston, Deneen Daviston, and Keesha Daviston; three brothers, Michael Daviston, Detric Daviston, and Wendell Daviston; two sistersin-law, Lora Daviston and Latanya Daviston; special daughter, Yolanda Tinsley; and a host of family and friends.
