A TIME TO BE BORN Ms. Deborah Ann Loggins-Walker was born to the late Charles Loggins, Sr. and Katie May Loggins on November 28, 1958, at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. She was the third of ve children. Deborah confessed Christ in her later years and was baptized at Holy Family Church under the leadership of the late Bishop Odelia Walker. She later fellowshipped with Christ Temple Apostolic Faith Church and subsequently, Greater Saint John Bible Church. A TIME TO CELEBRATE Deborah attended Hughes Elementary School and Farragut High School in Chicago, Illinois. She went on to complete trade school, obtaining a certi cate in Medical Billing. A woman of many talents, she owned and operated her own home décor company and was truly gi ed in her cra . Deborah was also a dedicated employee of Spring System Company, where she retired a er 37 years of service as a Part Tester/QA. She met and fell in love with the late Leo H. Walker; they shared 49 years together and were married for 32 years. Deborah possessed a vibrant spirit and a passion for the arts. She loved musicals and singing, o en sharing her high-pitched voice for all to hear. She enjoyed acting, creating costumes, and directing skits, ensuring there was never a dull moment on Lexington Street. Above all, she loved creating works of art; her handmade cra s continue to grace the homes and businesses of her family, friends, and customers to this day. A TIME TO REST Deborah departed this life on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 10:15 PM. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Loggins, Sr.; sister, RoseMary “Jannie” Loggins; husband, Leo H. Walker; and her, Leo Shandell Loggins. She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Katie May Loggins; two brothers, Charles Loggins II (Chicago, Illinois) and Joseph Loggins and wife Janet (Lexington Park, Maryland); two sisters, Renee P. Loggins (Chicago, Illinois) and Centrella Loggins (Anaheim, California); two daughters, Likisha Walker-Looney and husband Ronnie Looney (Wheeling, Illinois) and Kimberly Loggins (Chicago, Illinois); and one son, Deandra Loggins (Berwyn, Illinois). She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren: Joshua Davis, Desiree Loggins, Shantae Davis, Acara Atkins, Shamia Loggins, Alexandra Atkins, Daryl A. Harris, Jailen Loggins, Jaquan Loggins, Camron Cooley, Gabriele Cooley, Kriston Bell, Shamar Richardson, Ryan Mosley, Yosef Walker, Devin Loggins, and Mister Flowers; a host of great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Veronica Molten (Chicago, Illinois), Janice Backstrom and husband Phil (Chicago, Illinois), and Mona Lisa Walker (Chicago, Illinois); two brothers-in-law, Patrick Redginald Sarden (St. Paul, Minnesota), and George Walker (24th Ward); two dear friends, Janice Spencer and Margie omas; and a host of other beloved family members and friends.
