Debra Earl was born in Chicago, Illinois, on November 23, 1958, to the late Robert Earl, Sr., and the late Delores Earl. During her formative years, Debra’s elementary and middle school education was in Chicago’s private and public schools. She attended Chicago Vocational High School. Debra was always popular in school. She infused every environment with her upbeat personality. She made many lifelong friendships. Debra departed this earthly life on October 13, 2022, at her home in South Bend, Indiana. Debra loved being the family’s baby girl and always used it to her advantage. Having brothers and older sisters, she often reminded them that she was their parent’s favorite child. Debra was a vibrant dancer, and when she stepped onto the dance floor, many took notice of her effervescent rhythmic personality. She would dance the night away, as she was the first on the dance floor to get the party started and the last one to shut the party down. Debra had a big heart for others and aspired to help women who needed shelter and housing. She started a transportation company commuting clients to various medical appointments. When her family and friends needed help, Debra would assist with joy when she could, and you could trust that she would also add some remarks that invoked laughter. Debra enjoyed serving her family with delicious, home-cooked meals. She could burn! The family loved to gather at her home for Fish Friday, bid whist games, and Sunday dinners. Debra loved being a grandmother and took pride in making it known that she had 13 grandchildren. As much as she loved her children and grandchildren, she would always say, “Don’t bring them over here. I don’t babysit!” Her children ignored her, dropped them off anyway, and she cared for and loved them with much joy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Earl, Sr., and Delores Earl, and siblings, Robin (Eugene) Topez. She will be deeply missed by: five loving children, Ronald (Adrienne) Reed, Ryan Earl, Kendro Earl, Glenda Earl, and Deshun Earl; four siblings, Theresa Earl, Myra (Vincent) Clarke, Dana Earl, Anthony (Caterina) Earl, and Robert Earl, Jr; and thirteen grandchildren who she loved dearly
