Edward Thomas IV, “TEDDY” Was born May 13, 1973 in Chicago, Illinois to Edward III and Barbara Sue Thomas. Michelle Clark and Austin High School, and Technical College all in Chicago. Teddy confessed Christ at an early age. He joined Prince of Peace Missionary Baptist Church and later joined Destiny Worship Center, Pastor Deandre Patterson. Teddy utilized his skills in the manufacturing industry. He was always adventurous; meeting new people and seeing new places. He loved family gatherings, he loved music, and had his unique ways to make you laugh. Edward was joined in matrimony to Idella Brown. They were blessed with their daughter Teonna Thomas. Teddy departed this earthly life on January 20, 2023 at the hospital with his family by his side. His daughter Keanna Thomas, brother Cornell Wade, and Aunt Beverly James all preceded him in death. Edward leaves to cherish his memories: A Loving and dedicated mother and father; wife Idella; daughters Geoyia and Brittany Knightengale, Brionna Thomas, Teonna Thomas; son Brandon Knightengale; three loving sisters: Damita JoThomas (Mimi), Leketha Wade(Tootie), Cathy Wade, four brothers; Emmett Wade, Eric Wade (Baby Eric), Sylvester(Vest) Raggs, Anthony Thrower(God-Brother); very close Nephew Dexter Lee and Niece Ashlee(Lil Barbara) and host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces Nephews, Cousins and friends
