Eugene Williams Obituary

THE LIFE
At age 74 on the day after Thanksgiving, November 28, 2025, Eugene was lying beside his sweetheart as
he transitioned at 7:34 am. Eugene Williams, affectionately known to some as Brother, Killer, and Dog.
He was born on March 31, 1951, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was the 3rd of twelve siblings to the proud
parents of John L. and Lillie Mae (Wilson) Williams. Both preceded him in death, along with seven other
siblings (John Jr., Delores, Diana, Anita, Jimmie, Alvester, and Michael) and three children, Otis, Qiana,
and Tyrone.
Eugene was educated in the South before joining the United States Army in 1971. After leaving the service,
he moved to Chicago and worked in the construction field. He worked on various jobs, but he specializes
in carpentry.
THE LOVE
Eugene spent 40 years with Brenda; they married on Valentine’s Day. Eugene was a fun-loving, sociable,
observant, and outgoing individual. His pleasure was pleasing Brenda. He took her everywhere she wanted
to go and did everything she wanted to do. They travelled a lot and hosted many family gatherings. He
enjoyed shopping, Spa Treatments, Church, family outings, Playing Slots, and being the driver for ladies’
night out with his sister-in-laws (Debbie, Sharon, Jackie, and Clem). He also enjoyed listening to music &
sports; the Bulls and Dallas Cowboys were his favorite teams. He was fond of all of his grandchildren. It
was a delight for him to sit on the front porch watching them play outside. He would get up every morning
to go wash the car and hang out with the fellows. He was his own man; he did everything he wanted to
do in life. He thought he was GQ when it came to dressing and looking cool. He loved God, family, and
friends.
THE LEGACY
He leaves to embrace his life, love, and legacy to his caring, loving, and devoted wife, Brenda Washington-
William. His children will always remember the words of wisdom, jokes, and fond memories, Pamela
(Ronode) Wright, Eric (Kimberly) Williams, of Farmers Branch, Texas, Taveres (Latanyia) Williams,
Marques Washington, Rholanda (Demario) Gray of Atlanta, Victoria Bell, and Brittany Brown. His
siblings are BarbaraDemario III, Londyn Williams, Geremy Scott Jr., Jabril Scott, Paisli Parker, and a
host of nieces and nephews from Texas, Illinois, Mississippi, and Arkansas. His sister-in-laws, Patricia,
Melissa, and Tonya Williams, all from Little Rock, Arkansas, and a host of other nieces, Nephews, sister-
in-laws, brothers-in-law, relatives, family, and friends.
