Fanchon Elizabeth Jaynes Jenkins

Fanchon Elizabeth Jaynes Jenkins, 83, was born August 29, 1938, to parents Frisele and Fanchon Jaynes. She went home to be with Jesus on October 21, 2021. A er her mother passed away during childbirth, Fanchon was raised by Julian and Martha Harknes. On January 31, 1959, she married the love of her life, George Jenkins, at St. Malachi’s Church on the west side of Chicago. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Alice, son, George Jr. (Kimberly), and grandsons, Joshua, Elias, and Stephen. Fanchon is survived by her husband, George, and their children, Sheri Rannel (Mark), Joyce Weidemann, Christopher Jenkins (Nancy), Lorraine Luckett (Jamal), and Gregory Jenkins (Senia); grandchildren, Burnadette Simon, Melissa Simon, Alexis Sanders, Elizabeth Simon, Micah Weidemann, Rachel Webster, Regina Jenkins, Andrew Jenkins, George Jenkins III, Grace Jenkins, Olivia Jenkins,  omas Jenkins, Natalie Jenkins, Matthias Jenkins, Asia Jenkins, Sarah Jenkins, Kyle Carter, Jorge Luckett, Jada Luckett, Jorie Luckett, Brett Jenkins, Brea Jenkins, and Camila Jenkins; and many great-grandchildren. She loved the Lord and her family and will be greatly missed
