Glenn Ward, known by his family as “PeeWee”, was born May 31, 1963, in Vaiden, Mississippi. He was the second-born child to Mack C., and Maggie Ward, who both preceded him in death, along with his beloved sister, Nancy Ann Ward. Glenn attended Faraday Elementary and Crane High School. He held many jobs over the years. His last job he worked was for A to B Rentals as an equipment manager, a position he held until his death. Glenn was a devoted father and grandfather to all of his children and grandchildren. He was a loving and outgoing person who loved to dance. He was the life of the party and very funny. He was loved by everyone who knew him. Glenn transitioned to be with the Lord on November 28, 2021. Glenn’s wonderful life will forever be cherished through the lives of his living daughters, Anita Wright of Michigan, Shermika Wright of Michigan, Gwendlyn Wright of Indiana, Elisa Wright of New York, Glinda Ward of Wisconsin, Aiesha Ward of Wisconsin, Shontay Wright of Michigan, and Tyonna Ward of Illinois; his living son, Glenn Ward of Illinois; twenty grandchildren; two siblings, Daniel Ward of Pennsylvania, and Ella Ward (Sammie) Rayford of Illinois; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
