Henry Eli Bosley Henry Eli Bosley was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 27, 1955, to the late Henry Bosley, Sr., and Ola Mae Patton. He was the second child, following his beloved older sister, Bonnie Suggs. Henry attended Rezin Orr High School from 1969 to 1973, where he was accompanied by his soon-to-be wife, Denise Bosley. After graduation, he began his journey into the workforce, first gaining employment at Palmer Printing Company and later working as a porter at Rush Hospital. Affectionately known as “Big Bug,” Henry was larger than life—not only in stature but in spirit. A sharp-dressed gentleman with a powerful presence, he had a gift for words and a natural ability to make anyone laugh. At the same time, he carried himself in a way that made others feel protected and safe. He knew the city of Chicago like the back of his hand and took pride in teaching his sons the same knowledge and awareness. Henry was the definition of a true protector—a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, loyal friend, and a man whose strength and warmth touched everyone he encountered. His legacy lives on through the countless lives he impacted. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his devoted wife, Denise Bosley; loving sons, Henry Bosley (wife Tiffany) and Franklin Bosley (wife Shakenna); four cherished grandchildren, Chloe Bosley, Franklin Bosley, Jr., Royalty Bosley, and Zaria Bosley; beloved sister, Bonnie Suggs; best friend and brother from another mother, George Wesley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Henry’s presence will be deeply missed, but his strength, laughter, and love will forever remain in our hearts
