Katie Mae Binion was born on February 10, 1959, in Belzoni, Mississippi, to the union of Annie Mae and Charlie Binion. Katie attended Michelle Clark Middle School and later got her G.E.D. at Kennedy King College. Our Lord called her home on May 27, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Annie Mae and Charlie; five sisters, Pearlie, Earn Stean, Corine, Rosemary, and Emma; one brother, Charles; and one sister-in-law, Dorthey. She leaves behind seven children, Michelle, LeeAnn, Cherisse, Darrell (Cecelia), D’shuan, Ashley, and Diane; two sisters, Willie Mae and Fannie; one brother, Carl (Jean); six grandchildren, Daniel, Dejina, Davion, Olivia, Devarion, and Keishawn; a very special daughter-in-law, Veronica; two goddaughters, Joeann and Yasmine; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
