L.C. Davis, Sr., was born June 26, 1955, to the union of Emma Lee Dixion & L.C. Davis in Brookhaven, Mississippi.
In his early years, he attended Calhoun Grammer School, Tennyson UGC, Richard T. Cran Highschool, and Rankin Tradeschool, all located in Chicago, Illinois.
L.C. accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at New Hope Baptist church. L.C. was blessed with much love from many children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and the list goes on.
L.C. was united in holy matrimony for thirty years to Laura Davis. He was a devoted father of nine children. In 2011, he graduated from Strive Business Academy located in Flint, Michigan. He enjoyed the hobbies of dancing, soft ball, hunting, and fishing. He was also a problem solver and the anchor to his family.
L.C. Davis, Sr., peacefullly and quietly departed this life and chose to be with the lord on May 19, 2022, in Chicago, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his sister, Anita Davis; sons, Jimmie C.L. Hicks and Michael Hicks; brother, James Dixon; mother, Emma Lee Dixon; and father, L.C. Davis.
He leaves memories and special life to be cherished by: his wife, Laura Davis of Flint Michigan; nine children, Jacqueline (Emmanuel) Hicks and Jeannie (Lorenzo) Nelson, both of Chicago, Illinois, Theresa Hicks of Indiana, Anita (Byron, Sr.) Davis, Julie Davis, Betty Davis, Corey Davis, and Andrew Davis, all of Flint, Michigan, and L.C. Davis, Jr.; three brothers, Lester C. (Perrine) Dixon of Michigan, and Robert E. Dixon and Charles (Dorthy) Dixon, both of Chicago, Illinois; two sisters, Dorthy Buie and Bessie (John) Davis; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.
