LaSalle Wilson was born in Chicago, IL, on October 4, 1968, to Carrie Bell Wilson and Willie Wilson. LaSalle attended Morton Elementary and Marshall High School. She later received certificates in business and property management. In 2005, she started her career at the VA Hospital to later become supervisor of the in-patient ward clerks. LaSalle accepted Christ and attended Life Center Church of Deliverance. She later started doing comedy in her church in 2010. Since then, she has been seen performing all over the city and suburbs from churches to Chicken Shacks. LaSalle was known for her vibrant blue hair and lipstick, that charming smile, and funny jokes. Sal was the life of the party and the backbone to the family. She loved traveling and spending time with family, friends, and especially her grandson. LaSalle Wilson left to be with the Lord on July 5, 2023, at 2:47. She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Wilson Sr., brothers, Kirk Wilson and Willie Wilson, Jr., and nephew, Yanong Woods. She leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Carrie Wilson; two daughters, Amesha Gulley and Taniya Wilson; one son, Jimmy Gulley; one grandson, Messiah Lee; three brothers, Maurice (Dorothy) Wyche, Marvin Reddick, and Ocie Wilson; two sisters, LaRayne Wilson and Myrna Wilson; very close friends; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
