LaShundia Denise Rhoden-Wade

LaShundia Denise Rhoden-Wade was born to the late Betty Rhoden and James Jones on May 5th, 1971. She departed this earthly life on Monday, March 28th, 2022. LaShundia Rhoden has several siblings on both her mother and father’s side. On her mother’s side, she has four sisters, Dana Johnson, who was raised as her sister, and Felicia Croswell, Starcharel Powell, and Latifah Croswell; one brother, Aaron Johonson, who was raised as her brother; on her father’s side, she has one sister, Lassandra Weathersby, and two brothers, Jermaine Jones and Jerwayne Boykin. LaShundia Rhoden recieved her Respiratory Therapy license, graduating from the College of DuPage in 2007, with her Associate’s degree with Honors. She worked at several hospitals before coming to St. Alexius Medical Center, where she remained until she was no longer able to perform her job duties, due to her illness. LaShundia leaves behind: her beloved husband, Lawrence Wade; three children, Passhun Bryant, Hai’Sean Wade, and Shuniyah Wade (her son, Lawrence Wade, Jr., preceded her in death); two grandchildren, Tangela Swan and Malik Swan; and a host of nieces and nephews, along with friends who have become family.
