LISA CAROL JORDAN-GILES was born on November 9, 1964, in Lexington, Mississippi, to William and Earnestine Jordan, both of whom preceded her in death. Lisa attended St. Mel Elementary School and graduated from Lucy Flowers High School. As a child, she was very athletic and loved playing so ball, kickball, and basketball, among other sports. Lisa was a devoted Christian and a member of St. Rome Church under the leadership of Pastor Tony and Emeritus Pastor Ernestine Connor. She initially worked at Midway Airport before moving to O’Hare Airport, where she met her husband, Donald Giles. Lisa was also employed at Helix Camera and Video, where she gained knowledge about cameras and video equipment and even had the privilege of meeting Barack Obama. Her nal job was at Walmart, where she worked overnight, stocking shelves for the remainder of her career. Lisa was a wonderful person both at work and in her relationships. She was a great mother, great daughter, sister, cousin, niece, aunt, great-aunt, and grandmother. She cherished family gatherings and will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Lisa is survived by her uncle, Leslie (Mia) Gibson; three sisters, twin sisters, Yvonne Jordan and Yvette Brown, and Sheree Williams; two brothers, Pastor Anthony (Romona) Jordan and Jermaine (Shiryl); husband, Donald Giles; mother-in-love, Mrs. Taylor; sister-in-love, Kim Taylor Burton; brothers-in-love, Rickey Giles, addeus Taylor, and Gregory Taylor; children, Trevell Jordan, Tavarius Jordan, Khasiim Giles, Julian Giles, and Donald Giles, Jr.; special daughter-in-love, Alante Carter; two granddaughters, Alani and A’Zaria Jordan; goddaughters/nieces, Shontrell and Shaniqua Jordan; special nieces, Raven Jordan and Kayla Carter; godsons/nephews, Anthony Jr. (Tony), Ahmad (Janae), and Akwan (Shakeenon) Jordan; special nephews, Terrell (Josh) Kosa of Tampa, Florida, Richard, Dameon, and Anthony Jr. (Big Tone) Jordan, all of Chicago, Illinois; a host of nieces, nephews, and special great-nieces and nephews; she also leaves behind special friends, San and Loretha of Chicago and Lisa and Pat of Florida; special cousin, Teresa Young; along with a multitude of other cousins, family members, and friends.
