Loren Gaddis Williams Loren Gaddis Williams was born on September 24, 1974, in Chicago, Illinois. He was the second of two boys born from the union of Edward and Loretha Williams. Loren was a member of the West Point Baptist Church where he accepted Christ as his savior and was baptized at an early age. Loren attended St. Columbanus Catholic School from kindergarten to eighth grade. He was a member of the Boy Scout troop where he learned many life skills and earned a few badges. He graduated from Percy Julian High School in 1992. Loren attended Alabama A&M and completed his bachelor’s degree at Chicago State University with a degree in computer science. Loren started his career in the insurance industry working for Zurich Insurance company, he then briefly worked for Travelers Insurance company where he met the love of his life SyDonna Williams. They were married on August 8, 2016. He then started working for Philadelphia Insurance companies where he received his licensure as an account manager specialist. Loren was passionate about traveling and enjoyed circling the globe taking many vacations and excursions. Loren had such a calm demeanor & smile that touched so many. He was a caring sociable man that loved spending time with his friends & family. Loren leaves behind his beloved devoted wife, SyDonna Williams; father, Edward (Sharlynne) Williams; daughter, Jasmine Crockrell; nephew, Sean RJ (Veda Garret) Williams; grandchild, Jeremiah Morris; mother-in-law, Cardelia (John) Redmond; special aunt, Gabriella L. Hayes; special niece, Khalilah Stearns; sister-in-law, LaKeysha Cobbins; half sisters, Kayesha and Shakira Williams; half brother, Erskine Williams; and host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Loren made his transition on Friday, March 28, 2025, peacefully at home in his sleep. He was proceeded in death by his daughter, Brianna Williams; brother, Sean Edward L. Williams; his mother, Loretha Williams; grandparents, Gaddis and Ollie Hayes; and sister-in-law, Tityra Caressa Stanton. Loren was a gentle giant and always had a twinkle in his eye with a humble loving sprit that will forever live on in our hearts.
