Marcus was born November 30, 1973, to Victoria Lynch Marks and Mamon Marks, Jr. Marcus was an ambitious young man with a larger than life personality. He was active in many sports, but he had a love for football and basketball. He had an unmatched memory of the players and their stats. Marcus was the only boy and the middle child. He was in between two sisters, who equally loved and spoiled him, so much that many thought Marcus was the baby of the bunch. Any room Marcus entered, his presence was immediately known. He was guaranteed to give everyone a good laugh. Marcus was a graduate of Austin High School and attended Triton College. Marcus was a devoted father who loved his children. On March 22, 2007, the love of his life was born, Oshanae Shacarra Marks. On July 15, 2009, his legacy was born, Marcus Leveile Marks, Jr. Marcus was preceded in death by his father, Mamon Marks, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Betty Marks Knight and Mamon Marks, Sr.; and maternal grandparents, Francis Robinson Lynch and Herman Paul Lynch. Marcus leaves to cherish his love, affection, and life long memories, his children, Oshanae and Marcus Marks, Jr.; devoted mother, Victoria Prewitt; bonus father, Jimmy Prewitt; sisters, La’Tiste (Tece) Marks and La’Tonia (Toni) Marks; bonus siblings, Cheryl Parham, Phyllis Parham, Natasha White, and Jimmy (Shon) Prewitt and his wife, Jessica Prewitt; aunt, Yolandas Robinson; uncles, Roderick and Brian Lynch; nephews, Roderick Robinson and La’Darrius Lindsey; nieces, Jessica and Ja’Juanna Marks; great-nephews, Roderick Robinson, Jr., Germontaye Malone, and Malachi Franklin; great-niece, Ra’Janae Robinson; godmother, Joyce Reed; and godbrother, Daniel Poelinitz; in addition to a host of other extended family and special friends.
