Maria Victoria Poremba was born on September 8, 1967, to Josefa Macias Mendez. She was born and
raised in Nueva Rosita, Coahuiia Mexico. At the age of eight, she moved to Chicago, Illinois, and went on to graduate from Holy Family Academy. In the summer of 1984, she met the love of her life,
Timothy John Poremba, Sr., and they were joined in holy matrimony on November 24, 1987. Maria was very loyal to her career at FEMA for 35 years. She gave her life to the Lord in 1996 at Living Word Christian Center and was faithful unto the Lord until He
decided to call her Home. She fought a good fight, finished her course, and kept the faith. She was extremely dedicated to her husband, children, and grandchildren who brought her much joy.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Josefa Macias Mendez, grandmother, Griselda Mendez Macias, and grandfather, Benito Macias.
She leaves behind a legacy of love to cherish her memories: husband, Timothy John Poremba, Sr.; two sons, Timothy John Poremba II (Guadalupe Poremba) and Richard Alan Poremba; her one and only daughter, Victoria Joy Poremba; three sisters; three brothers; three grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Gabriela, Alexander, and Isabella Poremba; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, in-laws, and cousins.
We, the family, will always remember and hold onto the love and faith that she instilled in us.
