Michael Zaveon Burdine Jr

Michael affectionately known to his close family and friends as Zaveon was born to the proud parents of Ebonie Higgins and Michael Burdine Sr, on November 20, 2003, in Chicago, IL. Zaveon was the oldest child of both of his parents, and he took much pride in being so. Zaveon attended Leslie Lewis Elementary where he was very active on the basketball & football team. He later attended and graduated from John Marshall High School. Zaveon was a very independent and hard-working young man and was employed with home Runn inn Pizza and Target Stores. Zaveon was a very smart, loving, & funny kid. He always had jokes for any and everyone he met. Michael’s life here on this side was short but was very impactful. He departed this life on April 22, 2024. Michael was preceded in death by his stepfather Vincent Winkfield; two uncles Pierre Higgins, & Raymond Higgins; two cousins Pierre Higgins Jr, & Jimari Williams. Michael’s memories will live on in the life of his parents Ebonie Higgins, & Michael Burdine Sr.,; Three sisters Zarrianna, Samaya, & Makahi; Five brothers Vincent, Mekhi, Devon, Montrell, & Rayshawn; Two grandmothers Diane Higgins, & Virgie Burdine; Three grandfathers Alando Hall, L.C. Burdine, Gregory Valentine; Three aunts Keyanna Higgins, Salonda Williams, & Teosha Burdine; Four uncles Clarence, Aries, Larry, Kevon; Godmother Tehran Powell; Close friends from the 1400; and a host of other relatives , cousins and friends. Zaveon will be sorely missed by all!!
