Ollie D Massey

Ollie D. Massey, age 84, peacefully transitioned from his life on January 26. 2025 at 3:00 am at UIC Hospital Chicago, IL. Born on June 26, 1940 in Coldwater Mississippi to Clint and Girlean Massey, he was also one of seventeen siblings. Ollie know as (Pops, Uncle Ollie) was a Pillar to the community very caring, humble, God fearing, “Loved the Lord” and mentored so many, a story teller, and would always keep you laughing, He was a caring Father/Grandfather, loving big brother and had the ability to understand how to  x so many things from work, home, or even helping Family and friends and a solution to their situation. He always inclined his ear and was very dedicated to Family. Ollie married Camiller Todd on April 11, 1963 which a er they moved to Chicago to start a life. Ollie worked at Customer Rubber Mold Inc Addison, IL where a er 30+ years retired to dedicate his Love and admiration to his wife and children. Ollie leaves to cherish in his memories four sons, Josef, Sr. (Latasha), Carlos (Angelina), Dwayne (Cathy), and Demetrious. 11 grandchildren (Special granddaughter Shantedra), and four great grandchildren. He also leaves behind four siblings, Clara, Lawrence, Brenda, and Mary. Host of nephews , nieces, friends, and many other loved ones.
