Patricia Stewart Obituary

Patricia Ann Stewart was born on May 16, 1959; in Chicago, Illinois, to Dorothy Stewart and Merdis Love. She attended Daniel Webster Elementary and continued on to Manley House High School where she enjoyed Cheer and Dance. Patricia later moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, with her four children. Over the 14 years she resided in Minnesota, she enjoyed raising, cooking, teaching, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She later returned to her hometown of Chicago to be closer to her mother and family in 2008. Patricia confessed Christ at an early age under the leadership of Elder Jerome Scott, Sr., of Mt Calvary C.O.G.I.C. When she returned to Chicago, she attended Sanctuary of Deliverance C.O.G.I.C, under the leadership of Superintendent Steve Stewart. Patricia loved and was loved deeply by many. She was truly one of a kind, and a showstopper wherever she went. Her free spirit, and love for music, skating and dancing was unmatched. Patricia spoke her mind, but was patient in the pursuit of the untapped potential of those she loved. She found joy and purpose in helping others; as well as caring, cleaning and cooking for her friends and family. On December 12, Patricia Ann Stewart peacefully passed from this world, surrounded by her children and family. She will forever be cherished and lovingly remembered by her children: Tiffany Coleman-Cotton, Martin Stewart (Ayanna), Corey Stewart (Dawn), and Jason Stewart; 22 grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren; mother, Dorothy Stewart-Smith; and siblings, Sharon Stewart (O.D.), Melvin Stewart, Steve Stewart (Cynthia), Tajuana Sargent, Earl "Roy" love, Bernina Love-Henry and Pharon Love; cousin/siblings, Sandy Leachman and Reginald Leachman; special cousin, Lawrence Sanders; aunts, Claudean Bundy, Netty Pittman, Rose Stewart, and Carol Gumbus (Wayne); uncle, Bennie Stewart (Emma); and a host of niece, nephews, cousins, and friends.
