Patricia Wade- Kimbell Obituary

Patricia Ann Kimble Wade nee Moore was born February 2,
1945, to the holy union of Sam Moore and Learnell Scott. Patricia was
the third child in this family and became the third of ten children.
Patricia (affectionately called Pat) grew up in the Argo community
and attended Argo Elementary (now known as Wharton Elementary),
Graves Jr. High School, and Argo Community High School. Pat received
her GED and went on to attend Triton College, where she graduated in
May 1990 with her Associates in Applied Science Degree in Addiction
Counseling. She later furthered her education to receive a Certificate in
Early Child Care.
Pat attended and was baptized as a child at the Antioch Baptist Church
under the pastorage of Reverend Henry Blackwell in Argo, Illinois. She
remained at Antioch for most of her young years, where she spent some
time serving as an usher.
Upon being widowed from her first husband, she moved to Leavenworth,
Kansas, for many years. When she returned to Illinois she united with
the Rock of Ages Church in Maywood and later united with Broadview
Baptist after attending their weekly bible classes. She remained at
Broadview Baptist until a few weeks ago when her health began to fail.
Pat held various jobs in her lifetime, all fulfilling a different need. One
of her first jobs was working at the A&P on 63rd Street in Argo. She also
worked at Corn Products, as a nanny in River Forest, and at Nordstroms
in Oak Brook, The Rack, and later at Hines Hospital in Maywood as a
teacher for infants and children. She worked at Hines over 14 years.
Pat was a beautiful lady who loved to have fun, loved to dress, and loved
to travel. She especially loved her family and family events. Pat was
blessed to share her life with three sons, Travoll, Robert, Maurice, and
one step-daughter, Sherell.
After the passing of her second husband, Wesley Wade, she met her
companion of over 25 years, Jimmie Williams. Together, they built a life
piece by piece.
Patricia peacefully departed this life on Saturday, October 4, 2025, with
Jimmie by her side.
Patricia joins in sweet repose her parents, Sam and Learnell Moore;
sons, Travoll and Maurice and step-daughter, Sherrell; and siblings,
Sammy Joe Moore, Winston Moore, Elizabeth Faye Johnson, Betty Jean
Henderson, Rebecca Jeanette Gilbert, Irma Jean Moore, and Debra
Moore.
She leaves to cherish her memory, Jimmie Williams; Robert Kimble
(Andrea); her brother, Clarence Moore (Ramona); sister, Linda Moore;
sister-in-law, Louise Moore; three grandchildren, Teisha Payne, Brian
Kimble, and Victor Kimble; and three great-grandchildren, Jayce Payne,
Elissa Henderson, and Nathaniel Henderson. She also leaves her first
cousin and best friend, Rita Young, and her goddaughter, Jeanneen
Beamon.
Pat had lots of friends, too numerous to mention them all, but life-long
close friends included Marie Randle, Nellie Flemons, Carol Bullock,
Amanda Hardaway, and Sandra Colbert Walker.
Pat also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends to forever
remember and love her.
