On March 1, 2010, Nyzireya London Moore blossomed into the world, weighing 7 1⁄2 pounds, 2 ounces and 20 inches long at Saint Bernard Hospital in Chicago, Illinois at 12:12 a.m. (I guess 12 was her lucky number), to her mommy, Nyree Paris Moore, father,
Julious H.G. Moore, Sr., and godmommy, Tyanna Tyson.
Since birth, my “sweet baby” was chill. She held full conversations at the age of one. She was never your average kid. She has always been wise beyond her years. “Zire” was blessed enough to hold a conversation with her daddy, Lawrence
Callicott, Jr., at the age of two and a half years old. His love grew deep for her, just based on her intelligence alone, and he NEVER left my baby’s side.
“Zario” was beautiful inside and out. She was the Tik Tok Queen, the party slayer, edge control killer, fashionista, smart, humble, respectful, spoiled, creative, adventurous, the best big sister to Lucky and Legend, helpful, honest, sassy, (a lot of sassy), and not an inch of tomboy in her body. This is my baby doll who stood her ground. No matter what, she corrected all wrongs. That’s “Mama Z,” she didn’t play. Most of all, she was “Her,” a kid at heart but never cared to fit in. She spoke from her heart and gave us all the “tea” about her day.
Nyzireya attended Randolph Elementary School since Pre-K through sixth grade. They loved my baby since day one. She was their helper, corrector, peacemaker, and encourager. While on this journey, they had nothing but amazing
things to say about my baby. Every staff member loved my baby, but her
love for her Pre-K teacher, Ms. Yarn, who was also her counselor, gave me comfort in knowing her “BooBoo” was okay. She loved on my baby and rubbed her belly for good luck.
“Zaza” has a huge family. She’s loved by her fav grandma, Nikki Moore, great-grandma, Debra Baker, Rosemary Terrance B., and Christine M.; fav granddaddy, Shartone Moore, Sr., and Dana Baker; siblings, Lawrence III, Legend, Julious Sr., Omari, and Oubrey; cousins, Dashiya, Eric, Elijah, Derwin, Amale Jr., Nassir, and Shartone III; uncles, Shartone Moore, Jr., Amale Sr., and James Moore; aunties, Nietika Moore, Neretivia Moore, Nikki Tunson, Kristin Moore, and Shante Moore; and a host of great-aunties, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Julious Moore, Sr., her T.T. Nyla, cousins, A’Marie and Sasha, and her great-uncle, Mako Tunson.
