Quintillius "Quint" Boykin

On July 5, 1979, QUINTILLIUS “QUINT” BOYKIN was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Dorothea (Jolly) Boykin and
Marvin Johnson. Quintillius “Quint” was an unique and only
child. He was introduced to the Lord at an early age at Saint
Veronia Church in Chicago, Illinois. Quintillius attended Charles E. Hughes Elementary and Washington High School, both in Chicago, Illinois. He then later attended Malcolm X College.
Quintillius “Quint” Boykin met his  rst love, Treva Hopson. In 2000, they had a son, Quintillius “Fudge” Boykin, who preceded him in death. Quint’s second son, Daquan Q. Boykin, was born a year later.
Quintillius Boykin later moved to Hanford, California where he met his partner, Latasha Shears. Together, they had two children; a daughter, La’Sya Quinzanay Boykin-Shears; and a son, Quintillius Boykin, Jr. Quint enjoyed being a father and made his children a priority.
On August 26, 2025, Quintillius “Quint” Boykin transitioned from this world. He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Dorothea (Jolly) Boykin; father, Marvin Johnson; children, Daquan Q. Boykin, La’Sya Quinzanay Boykin- Shears, and Quintillius Boykin, Jr.; aunts, Darlene (Carey) Jones, Jacqueline Boykin, Ida Davis, Sarah Boykin, Dorreta (Rayshaun) Boykin, and Loretta Boykin; three uncles, Rufus (Laura Wallace) Boykin, Richard (Nancy) Boykin, and Herbert Boykin; and a host of cousins, family, and friends.
