Raymond Parker

Raymond Parker was born on February 4th 1950, in Chicago Il. He was born to Pastor Cornelius and Mae Rose Parker. Raymond gave his life to Christ at an early age, where attended Little Zion Baptist Church in Chicago Il where his father was pastor. He attended Theodore Herzl Elementary and graduated from Farragut Career Academy HS. He later attended trade school for Quality Control, an industry he worked in for decades. Raymond enjoyed barbequing while spending time with his family. He also enjoyed his weekend flea market trips with his son-in-law Antione. Raymond was a gadget man; he loved his gadgets. He would get so excited about a new gadget, that when someone was visiting, he had to demonstrate how it works. He was a great person to be around and always up for a debate with any and everyone. To know him was to love him. (Everybody loved Raymond) On Sunday July 10th 2022, Raymond was called home to be with the Lord. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife Ycillia, 3 daughters Carrie (Antione), Latakka (Dorrian), Latrice (Kevin). 2 Stepdaughters Sherese (Ethan), Estella and 2 step sons,Keenan (Shameka) and Arron. Raymond is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren (Ayden, Carter). His mother Mae Rose Parker, his sisters, and a host cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He is proceeded in death by his Father Pastor Cornelius Parker Sr, brother Cornelius Parker Jr and his son Raymond Dwight.
