Regina Denise Alston was born January 15, 1972, in Chicago, Illinois. She was raised on the west side and she attended Melody Elementary School, where she graduated. She then went on to attend Austin Career Academy under the Padiya Program. She was preceded in death by her brother, Marlon; her nephew, Jacqueze; and one special aunt, Shirley. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: three daughters, Britney, Keyonna, and Janique; her mother, Rosa; her dad, Johnny; her grandmother, Mary; her three brothers, BIlly, Derek, and Darren; his children, Dakyla, Tristian, Da’Mari, and Da’Mir; one sister-in-law, Lisa (Marlon “ e Boy”) and their children Jabari, Monica, Khalif, and Mariah; two godsons, Bryan “Loved One / Boo” and Khalil “Poo-Poo;” two special godsisters, Rosie and Melinda; another special aunt, Nadine (Bill); and a big host of friends, cousins, aunts, uncles, godsisters, and godbrothers. Regina attended Mt. Calvary COGIC with her mother. She later joined Evangelistic Outreach Deliverance Ministry under the leadership of Apostle Florida Jackson, where her relationship with God grew stronger. She was always an active member in the church, whether she was singing in the choir, doing a fundraiser, or just simply making people laugh. Regina’s faith in God helped her to endure all the obstacles she overcame in her life. Even when she got sick, her faith never died. Her generosity had no limits; she would give you the shirt o her back. She was always helping others, unless the Bears game was on or her favorite TV show, lol Martin. We will truly miss Regina’s wit, her comedic jokes, and all the crazy good times we had with her. She will forever live on in our hearts.
