Rosie Mae Ware was born July 13, 1950, in Marks, Mississippi,
to the union of Wess and Rosie Lee Ware.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wess Ware;
grandmother, Maggie Lathon; and sister, Margaret Lee Ware.
Rosie Mae (aka Rose) accepted Jesus Christ at an early age.
Rosie Mae came to Chicago at the age of ve years old. She
attended William H. Brown School until the 6th grade. She
attended Mckinley Elementary School, where she graduated
from the 8th grade, and went on to attend Richard T. Crane
High School.
Rosie Mae was a fun and loving person who had a heart of
gold. She loved to cook and dance, and had a very fun sense of
humor. Rosie Mae loved her grandkids and she was loved by
everyone she came into contact with. Her ride-or-die partner
was her grandson, Earl. Earl loved and cared for her until her
untimely death. He never missed a beat when it came to his
grandmother and was always at her beck and call, no matter
what she wanted.
Rosie Mae went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December
17, 2023, at Hillcrest Senior Living facility at 1:45 a.m.

IL; two granddaughters, Tara and Jennifer Jones, both of
Danville, IL; one grandson, Earl Ware of ief River Falls, MN;
two sisters, Mary and Stacey Ware, both from Chicago, IL;
two brothers, Tracy Ware of Chicago, IL, and Anthony Ware
(Denise) of Fredricksburg, TX; eleven great-grandchildren;
and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
