Sakinah departed this life on Sunday, May 1, 2022, in Dayton, Ohio.
At an early age, Sakinah was adopted by her grandparents, Reuben Hassan, who preceded her in death, and Sakinah Hassan.
She attended John Hay Academy and Prosser Career Academy, where she loved being on the cheerleader team. She also attended Illinois Central College.
Sakinah was valued and loved by her Home Depot family.
Don Hassan; two aunts, Pamela Hassan and Sonika Hassan; five brothers, Kevin Hassan, Jr. (Jasmine), Rasheed Hassan, Malik Hassan, Evan Hassan, and Devin Hassan; two sisters, Kaly Hassan and Dejah’ McKenzie; her boys, Micheal, Mikhi, KJ, and Bae Bae Fatima; a special aunt, Anica; an uncle, Rae; her special cousins, Taeshah and Stantasia; and a host of aunts, uncles, two nephews, cousins, and special friends.
