A TIME TO BE BORN
A beautiful baby girl, Sharese Evette Longmire, was born on
September 8, 1975, to proud parents Joanne Longmire and
Anthony Bridges. She was raised in Chicago, Illinois, the city she
always called home. From an early age, Sharese accepted Christ
into her life and remained steadfast in her faith. During her years
in Illinois, she was a devoted member of Broadview Missionary
Baptist Church, where her spiritual foundation was nurtured and
strengthened.
A TIME TO GROW
She attended Tilton Elementary School and graduated from Austin
High School. She was a graduate of Lincoln Tech College. Her
true passion however, led her to Georgia, where she worked as a
Behavioral Aide Tech for children—a role that reflected her care
and commitment. She was also a foster parent during her years in
Georgia.
A TIME TO LOVE
Affectionately known as “Reese,” she brought joy to those around
her with a warm spirit, and love for life’s simple pleasures. She
was married to Charles Ruth. Sharese loved her family more than
anything, and was effortlessly charming with a wit that could light
up any room. She had an infectious smile and brought joy to the
hearts of all that truly knew her. She could hold a conversation
for hours with family and friends. She especially enjoyed driving,
traveling, and shopping—activities that brought lightness to her
days and smiles to those who shared them with her.
A TIME TO RETURN HOME
