Sharon Nicholson

Sharon Nicholson was born January 5, 1972, in Chicago, Illinois, to Prentiss and Evelyn Nicholson. Sharon confessed in Christ at an early age at New Baptist Missionary Baptist Church. Sharon attended Ryerson Elementary School and graduated from Westinghouse Vocational High School. Sharon worked for Bankers Life and Casualty. On Monday, September 20, 2021, Sharon made the transition when God said to her, “It’s time to come home, my child.” Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Prentiss and Evelyn Nicholson; her sister, Donna Nicholson Ozier; and her daughter, Shenequa Nicholson. Sharon leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memory: her fiancé, Alexander Wilder; her daughter, ShaRhonda Wilder; two sons, Shaquille Wilder, and Shamar Wilder; one stepdaughter, Marthia Ivy; two grandkids, Aniyah Beck and Avery Hughes; one sister, Bernadette Nicholson (Kornell); four nieces; two nephews; one godsister; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
