Sheila Renee Hopson

Sheila Renee Hopson was born in Porterville, Mississippi on May 10, 1968, to the late Tommy Hopson and Mary Nell Hopson. She graduated from Austin Community Academy in 1986. Sheila then began her career as an independent hair stylist for over 20 years. To know Sheila was to love her. Sheila didn’t have any kids of her own, but she took all her family kids under her wings. Sheila quietly departed this life on August 22, 2025. She was Hopson preceded in death by her father, Tommy Hopson, and three brothers, Melvin Hopson, Terrence Hopson, and Aundraco Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by her mom, Mary Nell Hopson of Chicago, IL; two siblings, Stevie Hopson and Katina Hopson-Tabb (Johann Tabb) of Chicago, IL; nieces, Mahogoney, Jasmine, Reanne, Taeshanique, Naudia, and Taniyla; nephews, Cordaryl (Zakkeyiah), Stevie, Edward, Laron, Myles, and Robert Jr.; aunts and uncles, Brenda Warbington (Anthony) and Asalean Kirkman (Pearlie); and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins,  friends
