Shonia was born on July 16, 1967, in Chicago, IL, to Jacqueline Mack and Selester Mack; she was the only child between the two. Shonia confessed Christ at an early age at Monument of Faith Church, under the late Pastor Richard Daniel Henton. Shonia graduated from Crane High School in 1985 and continued on to earn her associate’s degree at Columbia College Chicago/Triton College. In 1997, she was hired at The United States Postal Service as a clerk. Shonia’s father, Selester Mack, preceded her in death (2017). Shonia leaves behind: her mother, Jacqueline Mack; one brother, Quenton Mack; three children, Robbie Mack and Brandon and Brittany Mack-Span (twins); one grandchild, Raven Mack; two nephews, Jalen M. Callaway and Selester Q. Mack II; one niece, India M. Mack; a special friend, Lavell; and her Post Office family; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friend
