Apostle Dr. Patricia A. Holliday was born at home on May 7, 1965 in Sharkey, Mississippi to Alma Garner and the late Bennie Hopson. She gave her life to the Lord in 1982 at Grace Deliverance Tabernacle Church, under the leadership of the late Bishop D.L. Thompson and Pastor Barbara A. Thompson. She was excellent in academics and made a double in elementary school. With her love for academics, she went on to graduate from Whitney Young High School in 1982. She furthered her education graduating from Northeastern University in 1999 receiving her Bachelors Degree and again in 2002 with a Masters of Arts in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis. In 2011 she went on to get another Masters Degree from Concordia University in School Counseling and Psychology. In 2021 she received a Conferred Doctorate Degree in Pastoral Care and Christian Counseling from The Brinson Institute of Kingdom Leadership & Development (TBI). On July 20, 1985, she married the love of her life, Robert R. Holliday. This union was blessed with three beautiful daughters: Tatiana Monique, Tierra Jecolia Geanette, and Crystal Angelique; Three grandchildren: Anjelina Patrice Mone, Aaniah Romante Israel, and Naomi Elizabeth. Patricia began a long-term career with Chicago Public Schools, starting out as a substitute teacher. During her tenure at CPS, she held other positions as Classroom Teacher, Special Education Teacher, Licensed Professional Counselor and Case Manager. She retired from Tilton Elementary School in October 2020. Patricia was an excellent seamstress, administrator, counselor and took pride in mothering not just her children but many others. She was truly a mother to many nations. In 1999 she co-founded, with her husband, Faith Deliverance Temple (which is now Ruach Worldwide Ministries). Her personal ministry (Turning Pain Into Power Inc.), was birthed in 2009. She is a published author, publishing several books. She departed this life on November 24, 2021, and leaves countless memories to be cherished and shared by many: her husband of thirty-six years, Robert R. Holliday; three daughters, Tatiana Monique, Tierra Jecolia Geanette, and Crystal Angelique; three grandchildren, Anjelina Patrice Mone, Aaniah Romante Israel, and Naomi Elizabeth; her mother, Alma Garner; three sisters; Gloria (Michael), Michelle (Donald), Cassandra (Jeff), one brother, Bennie; her mother-in-love, Yvonne Holliday; her brother and sister-in-love, Jeff and Regina; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, bonus children, students and friends. Her stepfather, Elbert Garner, her father-in-love, Robert E. Holliday, and her father, Bennie Hopson, all preceded her in death.
