Tina (Teena) L. Scott-Windham was the fourth child born to Gregory and Dezola Scott, both of whom preceded her in death, on July 25, 1955, in Chicago, IL. At an early age, she confessed her hope in Christ. She attended the New Life Bible Church in Maywood, IL, and later began worship service with her current family of New All Nations Spiritual Church at 2110 South Pulaski, Chicago, IL, under Bishop Darryl Anderson. Tina met the love of her life, Mr. Keith Windham, and they married 29 years ago. Together, they shared four children, Dawn, the late Nicole, Nickolas, and Porcha. Tina attended Jenner Elementary School, May Elementary School, and graduated from Austin High School in 1974. Tina was well-known for her long, beautiful nails which she displayed proudly. The nails did not stop her from expert counting skills/handling of money as a cashier at Dearborn Wholesale in the 1970s, 80s, and 90s. She also worked as a cashier and manager at various currency exchanges in the Chicago-land area. She worked downtown at Crum & Forester as Team Lead, Operations Services for over 24 years. Tina had a “green thumb” with plants and enjoyed bowling, singing in the choir, and playing Bid-Whist! While sickness plagued her body for many years, she never lost hope and never gave up. She continued to trust in the word of God that His will would be done in her life. She was a testament to a woman of faith. Tina leaves to continue her legacy: her loving husband of 29 years, Keith; four shared children, Dawn, the late Nicole, Porcha, and Nickolas; siblings, the late Renee, the late Yvonne, Deborah of Virginia, Frankie of Illinois, the late James, Jacqueline of Indiana, Yolanda of Washington, the late Darrell, Robin of Illinois, Betty of Illinois, Jimmie of California, the late Jesse, and Marvin of California; one grandson, Dante; two great-grandchildren, Dai’Anoa Nicole and Dante Jr.; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends; mother-in-law, Gladys Windham whom she affectionately called “Mom;” brother-in-law, Kenneth Windham; sister-in-law, Gwendolyn Stevenson; and last but not least, her New All Nations Spiritual Church family.
