TONY ANTHONY JACKSON was born February 6, 1959, to Annie Mae and Samuel Jackson. The 2nd of six boys, “Lil Tony,” as he was affectionately known, graced this earth a force to reckon with. He may not have been the oldest, but he was definitely the Big Brother and took that role to heart. He lived a fast life, at his own speed, in his own lane, and on his own terms. Tony had a love for life and all things fancy and wanted everyone he loved to share in it. He was loyal to a fault and absolutely someone you would love to have in your life. From family gatherings to the streets of Kedzie to California, Tony was one of those people you were always happy to see. Tony had a lot of love in his heart, and a lot of people loved him. The king that he was, he saw fit to bring forth young Kings, ReShaun, Jawone, and Antonio, and Queens, Shavon and Alexis, of his own to continue his legacy. He never got the chance to make it official, but he shared the last 18 years with Sarah Cook. Her family, Sedric (LaSheena), Sheena, Shannon, Bennie, Bennard, Tyrone, Beverly and the late Shirley, embraced him as their own, and he did the same with them. He loved to travel and see the world, classic and race cars, and above all, family... especially his Annie Mae. He loved her so much, August 7, 2022, he walked away from his fight to remain with us, to join her. While Tony rejoins both his parents, Annie Mae and Samuel Jackson for a reunion celebration in the sky, he leaves to continue his legacy: his children, Shavon (Donald) Dowell, ReShaun Scott, Jawone Brooks Sr., Antonio Wilson, and Alexis Bowdry; brothers, Samuel, Vernon (Renee), John (Carlisa), Andre, and Joseph Jackson will continue the brotherly bond no man can ever remove; grandchildren, Jackson Dowell, Cory Dowell, Aubry Wilson, Antonio Wilson Jr., Ehryn Scott, Sin’ichi Dowell, Journi Brooks, and Jawone Brooks Jr., will trailblaze a path that let you know… Them are Lil Tony’s grandbabies; he also leaves to cherish his memory: three nieces, five nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
