Torrence Delano Hill, also known as “Beave,” was born on June 24, 1976, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Chicago. Tory was born to the union of Percy and Yvette. Tory received his formal education at Steinmetz High School. Tory’s life was turned around after he made a drastic change; leaving the streets and becoming a certified commercial painter. Tory then made a career change by becoming a machine operator at Scott Peterson (AKA Bobak’s Sausage Com - pany) where he was employed for sixteen years. Tory was the greatest husband, father, son, brother, grandson, and uncle. His life was very family-oriented. He loved outings and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed traveling, bowling, movies, arcades, dining out, and swimming. Other than his great love for his wife, I believe he loved food even more, especially pizza! Another highlight of Tory’s life was his ability to spend time and communicate with his childhood friends. Tory’s parents were Ministers of Faith and introduced him to Christ at an early age. Torrence met the love of his life, ShaTira, and to this union they were blessed with six amazing and wonderful children. Tory leaves to mourn: his loving wife, ShaTira; parents, Sherman and Yvette; two sons, Tristan and Torrence, Jr.; four daughters, twins, Za’Nya and Sa’Nya, Natori, and Natia; three brothers, Ter - rence, Truman, and Tanzell; ten sisters, Tekita (Mike), Tianna (John), Taranika (Chuck), Teresha, Jackie, Shavone, Sheldy, Shuron (Robert), Shalonda, and Patricia; four uncles, Olondo (Pam), She - no (Anita), AC (Alice), and Eric; five aunts, Renee, Tonya (Jerry), Glendora, Patsy, and Kim, all of CA; grandmother, Laverne Hill; a great-mother-in-law, Tira Henry; three brothers-in-law, Jamon, Desmon, and Darvis, all of MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He will be truly missed.
