Tracy Marie Frasure was born on February 1, 1983, at St. Francis Hospital in Blue
Island, Illinois to Rochelle P. Burnett and John Frasure, Jr.
Tracy attended elementary and high school in the Crete-Monee school district. After high
school, Tracy served as a Private 1st. Class, PFC, in the United States Army National Guard.
She was proud to be part of the Army National Guard, as she would often talk about the
brotherhood and sisterhood of being a “soldier.”
Tracy enjoyed creating amazing dishes. After serving in the Army National Guard, she went
on to study Culinary Arts. She enjoyed whipping up dishes for her family and friends.
In 2013, Tracy met Deante Riley, and they had a beautiful daughter named
Tre’Auna Sky. Four years later, she welcomed a son, Demetrius Tresun. Tracy’s
children were her greatest pride and deepest joy. They meant the entire world to her.
She loved them fiercely, endlessly, and unconditionally.
Tracy accepted Christ at an early age. She would attend St. Mark International Christian
Church and New Evangelical Bible Church. She would often “sing” God’s highest praise,
“Hallelujah.”
Tracy was larger than life. She was charismatic, vibrant, quiet yet bold. Today, we don’t “mourn” her passing. We
honor her life, laughter, love and spirit.
Tracy leaves to cherish her memory: her beloved children, Tre’Auna Sky Riley and Demetrius Tresun Wilkerson;
mother, Rochelle P. Burnett; sisters, Sharon (Andre) Henry, Rena Frasure and Denise Frasure; brother, Marcus
Frasure; grandfather, Robert L. Phelps; uncle, Jerome Phelps Sr.; aunt and uncle, Joanne (Derrell) Shead; cousins,
Jerome Phelps, Jr., Tanaysia Phelps, Jaloni Shead, Jazzma Shead, Jallel Alexander, and Keraun Banks; two dear nieces,
Imani and Aaliyah Henry; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and family and friends.
May Tracy’s memory be a blessing.
May her children always feel her love and guidance.
May we all continue to celebrate her.
May you rest in peace, Tracy.
You are forever in our hearts and we will forever love you.
