AUTHOR Tyson Maurice Brown’s story began on December 20, 1981, in Chicago, Illinois, to Jerlena Brown and Robert Smith. EXPOSITION Tyson accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age at New Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church. Tyson attended May Elementary and Austin High School. Tyson’s church home was Jesus Word Center under the leadership of Pastor Dr. Mattie J. Phillips. OPENING CREDITS Tyson was a man of Christ and faith. He knew the Bible like you know your ABCs. He had an unconditional love, and he always expressed that. He never hesitated to say, "I LOVE YOU." He always made casual calls to check in on his people. Tyson was very kind-hearted. He always willing to extended a helping hand. He loved family gatherings until you got on his nerves (then he would put everyone out). ACTION Tyson loved to dress and shine and pop his shiss (as he would say). Ty loved the parties. He was well-known to every door he stepped into. Ty got a chance to enjoy life, experience independence, have his own, and travel. His saying, “What’s up, Babyyyyy!!! You good? You straight?” Ty’s movie came to an end on October 19, 2024. Tyson was loved here, and in eternal life he was greeted by his two grandmothers, Donzella Brown and Beatrice Smith; three brothers, Demeterius Smith, Robert Brown, and Tramine Cooper; special uncle, Terry Brown (T. Mack); three special cousin, Angelo Roberts, Keirre Roberts, and Damorrio Harchett; six uncles and six aunties; and a host of cousins and friends who preceded him in death. CAST AND CREW MEMBERS Tyson leaves to cherish his loving memories to his parents, Jerlena Brown and Robert Smith; two daughters, Alayah and Alanah Smith; four sisters, Lakisha (Maurice), Erika (Tatsuya), Tawanna, and Tanika; four brothers, Robert, Marven, Leroy, and Tory; 28 nieces and nephews and 24 great-nieces and nephews; five uncles and five aunties; spiritual mom, Pastor Dr. Mattie J. Phillips; special friend, Dwayne Taylor, and sister, Debrina Moore; and a host of cousins and friends and his dog, Precious.
