William A. Walls was born on April 27, 1950, in Lula, Mississippi, to the late Naomi Walls and William Walls, Jr. William departed this life on Thursday, January 15, 2026. He was preceded in death by his father, William Walls, Jr.; mother, Naomi Walls; and brother, Morris Walls. William proudly served his country in the United States Army, attaining the rank of Sergeant. During his service, he received the National Defense Service Medal and earned distinction as a marksman. He was a dedicated employee of United Laboratories, where he worked faithfully for 55 years, from 1970 until 2025. William was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and devoted brother. He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife of thirty one years, Carol Walls, one son, Antiono Jocar (Amber) Blacknard; four grandchildren, Janelle Blacknard, Jace Blacknard, Joelle Blacknard, and Jor’e Blacknard; and four siblings, Diane (Charles) Sergeant, Leroy Walls, Raynell Walls, and Louis Walls. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. To those who knew and loved him, he was affectionately known as “William,” “Bill,” “Brother,” and “Papa.” But to his friends he was known as “TROUBLE.” He will be deeply missed and forever remembered
